Timeless Hand-Painted Watercolor Pet Portraits

I’ve always been a maker at heart—whether it was crafting as a kid or exploring design in college, creating things by hand has always felt like home. My journey into fine art began about seven years ago, when I took my first drawing class and discovered a love for watercolor. What started as an experiment quickly became an obsession—the soft edges, layered transparencies, and quiet precision of the medium drew me in completely.

My very first pet portrait was of my dog, Duchess. It began as a simple passion project but turned into something far more meaningful. Friends and family started asking for portraits of their own pets, and before long, it blossomed into a heartfelt part of my creative practice.

When Duchess was diagnosed with cancer, I began offering custom pet portrait commissions to help raise money for her treatments and has since grown into a way to honor the bond we share with our pets—those joyful, loyal, and deeply personal connections that deserve to be remembered in art.

Today, I work from my studio in Orlando, Florida, blending my background in design with my love for expressive, hand-painted detail. Each portrait is crafted using professional-grade watercolor paints, archival papers, and timeless techniques—made to celebrate your companion’s spirit and to last for generations.
